DSA celebrated the return of NYC studios with an evening of performances from seven studios represented in the alliance.
The showcase spotlighted the initiation of DSA’s mission to transform NYC’s dance culture and community through accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.

Net profits from the evening will be re-invested towards the creation of DSA programs aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of the NYC dance community.
Performances included the work of professional and student dancers from diverse backgrounds and genres from the following NYC studios:

Join us for an open and honest discussion on reimagining dance education post-pandemic. All in attendance will have the opportunity to join the discussion. Our panelists consist of the owners and directors of some of NYC's premiere dance institutions - moderated by renowned dance artist Nia Love.

In support of the Frontline Families Fund, a Not-for-Profit Organization providing direct financial support and educational scholarships to the children of healthcare workers who have lost their lives to COVID-19, the DSA presents Dancing for Heroes, the first installment in our efforts to support those who answer the call to serve, protect and heal us selflessly.

This unprecedented collaboration brings together some of the world's foremost dance teachers and choreographers. Experience the joy of dance and give back all at once!
